the mixvibes team has been hard at work ...with two fill time developers working on a new video engine

this up-date will include...

-LOGO & TEXT modules with transparency , text resizing & positioning , automitic scrolling

-New effects & transition which will be added up to the 22 presets

-4 decks video mixing & scratching at the same time with mixvibes time code vinly/C.D's and/or midi controllers

-Integrated Codec for better stability , speed , display quality & lower processor ressources

- The new video engine will be compatible with a lot of video formats & a lot of video recorders

..How would you know how good VFX is when it not out yet

are you a BETA tester for mixvibes "NO"...I did not think so

un-like you I am a beta tester for mixvibes ...& have had VFX as a beta for about 3 weeks now ...I can say that VFX is very , very good

it still needs some work on some little bugs...but when it does drop

it will shit on all other video mixing & scratching software out there

how can MixMeister & RockIT be better for mixing & scratching video

when MixMeister & rockit have little to no MIDI controllers supported

& both don't do time code vinly / C.D's

PS:...if you need help from the software developer to set-up & run a simple software like rockIT

you need to give up D.Jing you no skill button pusher

Whoa do you all use Mixmeister Fusion as well.

I use "Portable Mixmeister Fusion + Video" and its awesome for the past 15 minutes that I've used it.

Now I don't know which is better Mixmeister or PCDJ-Red Mobile, and I only just found out about both of these softwares today when I signed up and started reading these forums.

So they have implimented turny control for their VFX now? Nice..

I use both VDJ and VideoSL for vid cutnpaste sets ( both legit) and have been waiting for something a bit better. At the moment VDJ seems to whoop Videosl with ease.

Have they fixed the midi mapping? I recently tested Mixvibes cross for the AUs market and the mapping was a nightmare... Keep us updated with pix etc

mixvibes cross has midi but ....no midi maping

midi maping by midi learn will be available soon

mixvibes have to get the cross time code vinly right ( which thay have with cross up-date 1.2.3 ) before adding midi learn....so it will be very soon I think

mixvibes VFX is basis on mixvibes DVS/Producer

and its been striped down & made just for video

mixvibes dvs vfx is very easy to map by midi maping by midi learn & with pandas midi utility for mv7

That was an old one one using vdj.

I have also been testing vfx now for about 3 weeks have not really spent much time with it though.. been busy as hell.

One prob i ran into was the setup to just use external vinyl control. I was trying to send it through my serato box and for the life of me it would only work properley on the right channel. No control on the left. This was using MV control vinyl aswell.... any tips?
