Thanks guys, i have set it up so everything is easy to reach, plugged in and ready to go!

Same modest setup - different angle and new drivers in the speaker enclosures plust 10" active sub on the floor.

If anyone is interested in DIY speakers I bought my drivers from Jaycar, they're pretty clean sounding and looking.

Those are 6.5"s and sound good with mids but I wouldn't look to them if you're in need of heavy bass they bottom out.

Cheers:) it was only $195 too, sweet deal from a place called giggear in bayswater, got the laptop stand too for 30... It's ok but the case is solid so pretty happy, it's only taken me 5 years! Lol
