vdjmisterp Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Thanks. For those who are interested, I use Serato with Mix Emergency. I also use Abelton Live 8 to record the audio with the bridge plugin. But that's only for when I make mixes..etc. I don't use it when Im djing live. I use some custom quartz compositions for video transitions, webcam & live twitter feed...etc. FCP for making my own remixes and post production. This is my latest mix I made for the club I work at...(click HD for 1080p goodness)https://vimeo.com/43262776 Quote

CBG Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Rokit 10's are massive overkill lol. You need to have them at least 2m's from your head to make them practical. Cupe the proofing was upwards of $4k Quote
street Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 $4K of sound proofing seems like a bit of overkill too lol Quote

CBG Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 *Update*Wall mounted two 42" on wall. Creates heaps of room and minimises vibrations. It's all sitting about 5m away from 4 huge JBL subs and remains stable through a solid 10hrs of vibrationsStripped off top of desk so monitors sit at more appropriate height. Also leaves room for an analog mixer at a later date. Quote
djrhysj Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I'm keen to see CBG's set up but all I am seeing is a white page with a fat red cross through it. Could it be my browser settings? Quote
Cupe Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 well it's hosted on facebook, so maybe you have that blocked?or need to clear your cache? Quote
