CBG Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 yeah well fuck paying the extra money for 'black' 1000s then. Quote
CBG Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 1000s are designed for dumbshit DJs that have the money to waste lol. Quote
Genetic Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 i dunno i would like to have the 3 cue/loops buttons but unless you're recording them when you are working on your mixes and taking you're cards with you seems pointless... i do like have instant seamless looping from the 800 Quote

mo-c Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Thought id start off with a pic of my current set up....needs a bit of a clean up but and i plan on finding a way to hide all the cables neatly soon.Had the cdjs since january and the mixer was an old one of brothers so looking to upgrade to a zero 4 or maybe the new denon once i get some cash. Other thing on the list is a pair of speakers but i cant decide whats more important them or a better mixer. will keep you guys updated as things improve Quote
SourceRaver Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I'd get some speakers. Your existing speakers wont allow you to hear the bass in your mixes properly and may lead to some bad habits (ie not Eq'ing the mix correctly). A better mixer can wait and the Behringer is pretty good for a hand me down. Quote
Tomy Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 i had one if those once, its a behringer copy of the pioneer. its ok but i've noticed most behringer mixers only last a year if there used a fair bit, but for the price they do a pretty good job. effects are really bad though. Quote
mo-c Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 its a standard size.....maybe the pic is deceiving. the effects are terrible, and when i play on other systems i definitely notice the difference with eqing, and not to mention the speakers.ive been thinking of investing in some krk RP6 or 8...as im also doing some production. i hear the 8's are bit bass heavy but im not sure, any one with any experience?
