Andy - Yeh love the x-ponent, as I am new to the DJ side of things this thing makes it easy to pull off live sets. I have used CDJ's but for the cost(picked up x-ponent for $380 wif soft bag" and what im using it for ill stick wif the x-ponent for now.( most of my tunes get played thru mixmister7 on the 2nd laptop but I dare say once i get more confident with the"X" I will use it more often(outside the house).

Cheers..

Got my 2000 today, was waiting until i had all 3 new decks to post pics :) (new 850's as well)

Im pretty sure the 2000 has never even been used...i meen the power cord and RCA leads etc where all still factory sealed and/or tied up perfectly with those little black twistie things like when u buy electronics brand new, so my main theory was that its stolen brand new and pwned to cash converters by the theif, i meen who is gonna spend $2k on it then let it go for $850, thoughts? either way im stoked!!!!...

everything tested and working perfect, i was mixing like a boss this morning as well :D CDJ2000 $850, 2CDJ850's $1300, DJM800 $1100, cant be fucked pricing the rest (ask if u want) but i got very good deals on pretty much everything pictured...

As you can see, everything is still as hi-tech as always, gotta keep it real ya know :teef:

New additions are, the keyboard of course, which was 499 (gotta love student discounts), and there are two hip high speakers under the DJ desk that have some beasty 12" woofers that shake my room nicely, they were 29 bucks from Salvos, best buy ever :)

The stability of everything is a bit sketchy and will remain that way until I get my new desk, but it all works :D

thats what i meant, new 900 = 900 mixer

Ahh, I like it, heading my mate's house who I borrowed this from to mess around dj'ing. He's got a 2000 mixer in his current setup, I prefer the 900 to be honest. Even though they seem to the be around the same price the 900 seems to be less complicated and better laid out.
