tubby Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 got 4, bought a pair of htd4.5's for good price when I wanted a 3rd, planning to sell the other one. It's in the corner with a phone on top at the moment. Quote
Gandy Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 i dont get how you so many ppl ahve there setups facing the wall, so when your playing you looking directly at a wall and not the ppl your playing to? Quote
eggssell Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 yep fark the crowd im an artist!i think its because its a home setup, so 90% of the time there aint people there. so you need the space to look its best (for those with lounge room setups) and/ or be efficient.at my place its wall facing but living in an apartment its pretty easy between jesus poses to see how everyone is going. and at my parties the dj provides the music and everyone else is sitting around drinking, eating, smoking, & playing xbox. pretty much not giving a shyte about the dj, except when wondering when their turn is up. tubby Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 used to habve the setup in the loungeroom, was behind the couch facing tv on an angle, have sport on tv whilst micing. now it's in the spare bedroom I use as an office so not so much room. Lounge was 4*7, this room is 4*3. Was thinking of putting this up in front, play to the lasershttp://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT Quote
tubby Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Super jealous tubbs, do you ever hook up the AAs for some 4 deck mix madness?only got one of the aa's hooked up. I never really planned to have 4 tt's, and don't have the space atm to have it in a useful position, I need to work at the desk on the left 3 days a week. I can always use internal sync or a cdj if I wanted a 4th channel. 4d needs some internal jumper hooked up to get 4th phono channel, will get it done next service but not planning to open her up myself Quote
DJAdumbration Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Rearranged the spare bedroom and got some shelving from Officeworks. Now my gear is at a better height for mixing and I don't end up with a sore back after an hour or so of mixing.I am creating a new slipmat for the DNHS5500 that has my logo on it to replace the one of a venetian mask from my 30th. Should look pretty damn slick when it's done. Just need to print it off on a colour laser somewhere... Quote
