That Party Guy's DJ Logo help plz

so going under the name that party guy in venue's, i need a logo apparently.

first serious design i came up with late at night. nothing fancy atm.

any idea's, feedback, a place to go for inspiration.

shame things i've tried just look like this to me:

This. As soon as I see TPG I think of the dodgy internet company. Although, being the dodgy party guy could always have it's advantages.
