Robsta Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Having a problem importing a folder into rekordboxIt stays on the "Preparing" little dialogue box forever and when I cancel it the whole program crashes The tunes I'm importing from are on my computer's hard drive and they all play perfectlyAny ideas? To do this:Take a copy of the following folders somewhere (make sure you know which one is which)C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\PioneerC:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Pioneer (if it exists)Delete the above folders from the original (above) locationOpen rekordbox (ensuring updated to latest version) and try import that folder.If it works, there is something wrong with your old database files. Let me know how you goI tried your suggestion but it didn't work. Ended up opting for an entire uninstall, redownload then restart and it all working now.
