Cupe Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 We need to decide by 04/15/2014 if we want to keep ADJF Radio or not.The costs are $130 to renew the contract. Worth it?Input from all plz Quote
yizzle Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 under normal circumstances i always throw some $$ into ADJF.this is just not one of those times.. so.. Quote
eggssell Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 is there other methods to stream?I achally thought the decision was already made to move on as use versus costs wasn't worth it. especially if streaming can be had in other ways.I don't listen enuff or have never dj'd on it, so if you would rather not wear the cost I probably would not be too effected.on the other hand I love the idea of the radio and wished I could have used it more Quote
yizzle Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 it has been talked about in diff parts on the forum. i think this is THE thread for go or no Quote
OxyKon Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I like it^i know we are the only ones that really use it to its full potential but i don't want to see it go, ill chip in to help keep it up Quote
Tomy Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 i personally don't get a chance to listen to it much but if numbers of listeners are good i guess its worthwhile. otherwise spend the cash on the site else where? Quote
Cupe Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 There are never any listeners anymore except when a few lads go live for FNCP which is smaller these days than what it used to be. Quote
Scottie Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Not worth it imoplenty of free alternatives out there that the people who want to stream can use - mixlr is one that I'll try out tomorrow. Quote
BeatLeSS Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 As much as it is cool to say we have our own radio station, from a personal perspective I usually only tune when someone is playing live - and that isn't all that often anymore. The FNCP lads can always find an alternative, we might even be able to start doing video!
