ThatPartyGuy Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I never thought I’d see the day where a Senator up for re-election decides to DJ a nightclub to engage with the youth. But then again, Australian politics has never seen someone like Greens Senator Scott Ludlam who became DJ S-Ludz as part of a nightclub campaign rally this week. Now we have video of said rally, and it’s pretty rad.Western Australian voters return to the polls on Saturday to recast their votes in the controversial Senate election over there, and Ludlam is doing all he can to score votes in the final stretch. That meant heading out to Capitol nightclub and jumping on the wheels of steel.Skip to about one minute into the video above to see Ludlam take to the decks. Now we know someone can DJ better than John Howard (language warning).http://weknowmemes.com/2011/11/howard-djs-like-a-mad-WHALE/Source:http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2014/04/watch-greens-senator-scott-ludlam-dj-a-nightclub/ Quote
Kodiak Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Same dude that used his maiden speech (and probably only speech due to bi election) to call out Tony Abbott on just about everything. Quote
wrxfiend Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I heard that this morning! He has my vote+1I'd already decided to vote green, this takes the cake Quote
Mitch Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Good marketing tactic to engage a young audience. It's easier for him to sway the vote of an 18-25 yr old when comparing them to someone who has voted the same for the last 30 years. Quote
LabRat Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 It worked for me lol I'm about to go down and put a 1 next to his name Quote

OxyKon Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Can't blame the people for hating the major parties Quote
