Im not a promoter or anything, but this index had no posts, so i thought that since im currently in Darwin i would let you guys all know

about some of the major events that happen up here in the beautiful Top end. Do keep in mind... theres not many.

SUMMER SESSIONS 2014

Summer sessions is Held at Darwins most popular Beach - Mindil Beach. Darwins biggest EDM Festival which goes from Midday to Midnight. Recently just announced the date for this years Summer Sessions which is on the 7th of June (Queens Birthday Long weekend). Last Year over 5000 EDM Fans (Yes Very small) Not an allstar international line up but did get some well known artists like Kissy Sellout, Bass Kleph, Goodwill, Zoe Badwi, Peking Duk, Ten DMC, The Twins and Silver Sneakers. They had two Stages, #1 Main stage, as usual and another one was the silent disco. At $45 a ticket for general admission, and cheap XXXX (sponsors) you cant really go wrong on a beautiful Dry season Darwin Saturday

I arrived in Darwin the day before Summer sessions last year, so went out that night then had a big day the next. Personally i wouldn't bother comparing it anything like Stereo, but for Darwin it was a pretty epic day.
