RhemyD
how do you go about getting one of these slots? Also how much experience do you need? I'm thinking of boosting my skill set and taking this way more seriously then i have been. Clubs, Pubs, radio stations rather then the good old 80's party mix needed for 99% of a mobile DJ's work in Adelaide.
Cupe
normally the websites have a way of submitting a request for airtime.do a search and check out a few sitesfaderwave.net is alrightkrankydigital.com too
Blodders
just check the djf forums (sorry caleupe) there is a section dedicated to internet radios and you just have to send one of the mods a link to a set you've done and when you'd like to play once your approved the off you go
RhemyD
I'll check it out, is it just effectivly a podcasted show? Record in your own studio and then they play it?
tubby
most of the are live shows. go to stickam.com, you can seutp your own broadcast there. basically you stream to that site and it re-distributes, rather than you having to stream 10 * if 10 people are tuned in.of course if you do it on your own stickam account, you have to find your own audience, so faderwave and the like are already known by people.listen to the shows and see if you think you're up to that level. some of them are great, some not so great, but it's still a good way to learn
Cupe
broadwave is a way to play your own sets online for free with little hasslei used that for just testing online streaming and you don't need a shoutcasting server and shitit runs straight from your pc
tubby
maybe we should have stickam channel from the aus forums?though i listen mostly whilst I'm working, so the US time works out well.
