Cupe Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 We’re all familiar with how certain fans of dance music religiously take the time to insult the commercially successful of the day, from David Guetta to Steve Angello, calling them any sort of term to degrade and dismiss their art as being untrue to the essence of what the culture is supposedly about. With “fake DJs” to “sellout producers”, being the most common terms used, it’s come to a point where these opinions are being voiced merely for shock value and trolling opportunities. One such occurrence took place at Miami’s LIV night club yesterday, when a female fan called Calvin Harris a sellout, for playing his own track “Feel So Close“. Whilst this language has become the norm among fans, the artist in question didn’t take it too lightly, and promptly stopped his set to address the girl, who may have bitten off more than she could chew, and offered up little resistance of any substance. Clearly, if you keep baiting the dog, eventually it will bite. Now we just need to wait for David Guetta’s outburst. You can read an excerpt of the dialogue below:Who’s show did you come to?…It’s a f**cking sh*t show..Why do you come to a f**king Calvin Harris show where Calvin Harris is DJing and don’t want to hear a f**king Calvin Harris record you dumb f**cking b**tch… I’m going to play this record all night just for you…. Its going to play again and again until you tell me f**k off and never come back… What’s wrong with you? This girl needs to be removed from the club…….Source: thefrontliner.com Quote
