street Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Im still on the hunt for a new name so safe to say its driving me crazy, haha. I have taken a different direction so to speak in terms of name selection, I want it to have a positive vibe to it unlike my old suggestions. Dada Life is a name which has that positive vibe I'm talking about. It also has to be kinda unique, easy to spell and pronounce, and pretty much just to the point i.e. Knife Party, Slop Rock, Major Lazer etc. So a combination of 2 words is what Im after I guess lol. These are some words I like:TitanCultureCultVibeLunarModeFutureCodeSenseSonicNerveNightEmpireCircuitscapeSignalEchoTerminalSo far I like the ring Night Empire has to it, but am still deciding. There is nothing really specifically with the name Night Empire though. I dont really get how google determines it. When I google it using the google key words search Night Empire doesnt come up. Kodiak Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Intentionally misspelling words goes against the easily searched criteria. Quote
street Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 thats a good point drc1, I think it depends on how it is misspelt though. There are names which swap a c for a k and others along those lines which I think are dumb, or other names which add an extra letter at the end e.g. Distantt. When I google Empia tough, it doesn't say "Did you mean Empire?" which is a good thing.I really like the word vibe though. I'm trying to think of a word to put before it though which works well. There was also Empire Vibe or Vibe Empire. Quote
Cupe Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Vibe Empire makes me think of a kingdom of vibratorsAlso I'm aware of the incorrect usage of kingdom when we're discussing an empiricist convention, but I didn't want to use the word Empire twice in the above sentence. Quote

street Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 i just looked through a list of about 8000 1 syllable words trying to find something to go in front of vibe but didnt really like many. DeadvibeEndvibeDownvibeThese all had a cool ring to them but weren't that positive sounding.A few other cool words I thought of:NeonShotNotchToxicrushHypeGripVoltCallI really like Empia though. It's short, simple and pretty search friendly. Quote
