Not bad man, the beats are out of sync though. Practice will help you line them up properly

Yer as gremmis said, the beats aren't matched up so the vox feel out of place.

Also you aren't using the acapella, so you get the clashing from the synths and drums.

I'd work on getting the acapella of the track, then getting it to sit in the right spot.

The alive is an acapella must be clashing from the 2 songs playing.

Any tips on making it sound cleaner other than syncing the beats better?

It is all out of sync/clashing. Simple is better when you're just starting out.

Make sure the acapella is either warped correctly not warped because the other tracks are all 128 from memory.

Also load the original alive so you can lineup where the acapella should start in the bar.
