Bio – Tantrum Desire

Even from the very first releases, everyone could sense this outfit was something special in the making. Combining jump-up antics with strong hooks and catchy melodies made them rise through the ranks in no time at all. ‘Here They Come’, ‘Ready To Go’, ‘Body Shot’, ‘Electronic Brain’, ‘Smile’… the list is endless: they all smashed the dancefloor and fixated themselves into the minds and souls of ravers all over the world. These tracks also gained them the support of superstars such as Sub Focus, Netsky, Pendulum and Andy C. ‘Pay Your Own Way’ solidified their position as ‘the one to watch’ and gained them airplay by all the biggest players on the air and on the decks, meanwhile remixing the likes of Laidback Luke and Futurebound. And then came ‘Reach’, of which they created a dubstep and a drum&bass version. Big dogs such as Skream, Benga and Crissy Criss immediately started caning it, while the d&b version ruled the junglist dubplate circuit for months. It officially catapulted Tantrum Desire into the highest echelons of UK bass music artists.
