Saturday the 15th of June Chinese Laundry hosts to two extremely hot Sydney acts -WHAT SO NOT and LANCELOT.

Headlining the Laundry is What So Not - the brainchild of skyrocketing electronic act FLUME, and flaming dj rockett EMOH INSTEAD. This duo has been causing quite a stir and gaining the attention of some pretty serious international acts.

The crew from Mantra Collective will be taking care of things in the Cave with help from deep house maestro Lancelot.

WHAT SO NOT: Hailing from the sandstone bedrock that is Sydney, this duo (one half skyrocketing electronic act FLUME, one half flaming dj rockett EMOH INSTEAD) is the fresh face Australia's beloved 'Sweat it Out' & voice of the ADD generation. Released in Mid November 2011, their debut 4 track EP '7 Dollar Bill' caused quite a stir; with Switch, Bag Raiders, Sinden, Boys Noize & countless others all on board for this new sound. 2012 has seen an onslaught of epic remix's from the pair. Most notably their mix of Major Lazer's 'Get Free'. Gaining the attention of Flosstradamus, Nero & Diplo himself, their future bass rework scored them official 12" Vinyl release on Mad Decent/Downtown. With the who's who of EDM dropping their tunes on BBC Radio 1 & every major festival around the globe, don't be surprised if you see the WSN boys coming to a town near you.

LANCELOT: Lancelot - is the new project from 22 year-old Sydney producer Lance Gurisik. Formerly writing and producing black-hole sized electro as AEONS, Lancelot’s new tunes are aimed squarely at today’s club underground. For the past 4 years Lance has composed orchestral music while studying at the elite Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

But after hours, Lance snuck down into the faculty recording studios, laying down a clutch of well-regarded, official remixes for artists including Matt Corby, New Navy (Future Classic), Toucan, Fabian, Penguin Prison, Sparkadia (Ivy League), Faker (EMI), Tim and Jean (Universal) and Fallulah (Sony DE) plus three original tunes for the We Can Dance EP.

With a freshly framed graduation certificate and overgrown haircut to boot, Lancelot is plunging headlong into the deep-end of Australia's club scene.

With a fetish for analogue gear, Lance deftly melds classical theory and structures with his own take on modern house styles. The result is an EP both chin-strokers and fluoros can get down to. Lancelot's debut 'We Can Dance EP' has just been released worldwide on LA-based label Binary (Fabian, Keenhouse, Nightwaves).
