Jaytee
Hey guys.I'm calling anyone interested in a Youtube 10 min mix battle. Any genre.Record yourself making a 10 min mix and upload it onto Youtube. The person with the most amount of views by 25th of December is the winner.(I probably won't be making one, but if anyone is interested for internet stardom please feel free )Just to make things interesting. + this promotes ADJFThis highly depends on your choice of songs, how popular your mix will be, how well you promote it and how much the general public will enjoy it. (I suggest dropping a few mainstream songs or ones that will be mainstream because of your choice of music).PLEASE NOTE:All mixes will be uploaded onto a single Youtube channel (ADFJForums) to make it easier for people to judge which one they like best and to rate the others. Also if enough views are generated, this account will become a Youtube Partner with all earnings donated directly to ADJF.Please PM Caleupe for the password. Happy mixing! CBG
nothing that guy did in that video impressed me.I mean, he was pretty good. But a complete knob.Basic scratching, <4 bar transitions, shitty effects.I guess thats how you DJ that music though...Some of us here will be able to destroy that, hands down.I'm gunna do a Deadmau5 one i reckon . To coincide his arrival in AUS.

Jaytee
OK I decided that all mixes should be put up onto a single Youtube channel dedicated for things like this and other stuff related to djing. (Makes it easier to become a Youtube Partner and earn money if we generate heaps of views). All proceeds will be donated to ADJF once we've sucessfully applied to be a partner. You can upload any of your other mixes up here as well.USERNAME: AustralianDJsPASSWORD: (Private Message me for details)

ChevChelios
Record it how you normally record your mixes and film it at the same time, then mute the videos audio and use the good audio recording, put them together in like movie maker or something. I've never done this but that should work
Buck_Choi
is there any other ways that any one else knows about ?
Cupe
just use a video camera/webcam or digital camera that can capture videowhen you upload shit to youtube it converts it(im pretty sure)
JonnyB
for anyone that has a mac, open up quiktime, and change the audio to (line in) so when you record a video, the only sound to come from it is straight out of the mixer, so you get the clear audio and the visuals.do this once you have hooked up your laptop as if you were to record a mix
CBG
man, some of you guys seriously make things difficult for yourself.Just record it through audacity, and film it. Then mute the video and sync it to the audio. Like what jaytee said.
