SnatchMD Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 hey everyone,looking for some feedback...i was recently told by a female friend that SnatchMD may come across as a bit sexist/in your face, ide never really thought about it til then but it's got me thinking maybe i need a G rated alias so i don't alienate the ladies before they even listen to the music...my nickname has been snatchie or snatch for a while now to alot of my mates but i can see the problem...would love to know what you guys think and also if you have any suggestions for an alias they are welcome!"SMD" might be ok but may just get gobbled up in the already acronym saturated world and forgotten easily... wrxfiend Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Back when i started up, my mates gave me the name DJ Slapnuts. dont really know why, i certainly slap my own stuff occasionally, But when my friend asked me to do his wedding, he didnt want to put DJ Slapnuts on the invite or the table marker. LOLHence i went back to my tag of many years, Phasethen i realised there was Phase from Abdominal and Phase.I dont care anymore, and since ive always been a bedroom dj anyways, i had no name for years. Now that im focused on production, I am now "Phase Productions". i also like how you whales have shortened my username to "fiend" for weed and hip hop i am so fits quite well. Im not a glass bbq'er tho so wouldnt call myself Fiend off this siteto sum up, keep your name I dig it, and if some bitch gets offended, shes def not gonna put out anyway! Quote
SnatchMD Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 haha u guys rock:)yeah it is a good name, i used to go by akkademmik but it had no real meaning... i guess the point she was making was that for certain functions my name might stop ppl from saying yep, snatchmd is what we need! lolmy real name is Rick Williams but that doesn't have enough of a ring to it to use as my dj name even for those gigs that might need a bit more discretion...but yeah u r all ultimately right, if i was purely in clubs, well in clubs at all, it would't matter and it would prob do me better!cheers for all the feedback, much appreciated!
