lloydc Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 i'm betting the tickets will be $300-350 for a 2 day passalso, i couldn't handle a 2 day festival... i'd need a week off work afterwards.crundy saw this post and ran to the gym straight away. He's got twice the work to do in prep for this festival.ps. can you imagine the rude heads on day 2? Quote
GREMM1S Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 They said a two day pass would be like 30 extra i think. Quote
djbater Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I think it is a good idea no matter which way they structure the line-up. Will be interesting to see the price difference between a 1 day and a 2 day. Usually Adelaide and Melbourne are on the same day, so having 3 across 3 days will make it better for the performers.Interestingly, it is on the same day as the bon jovi concert in melbourne. Not sure how many people this will effect, but personally I am going to be securing a bon jovi ticket before the 4th of July when the lineup comes out, and then make my decision later on. Quote

crundyy Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 2 days of walking around at under 10% bodyfat C:In all seriousness though i don't think there's big enough venues in oz to make it a full continuous festival, I reckon it'll be the same lineup each day so the organisers can spread the amount of people that go over 2 days (remember how packed stereo in sydney was last year?)either way im keen as phuck and me and my mate are achaly going to brisbane for it/getting a hotel and rooting brisbane sl00tz for teh l0lz Quote

crundyy Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 just doing Brizzy for something different man, bro... name a venue thats big enough to have a 2 day festival in Oz??i wont be surprised if they have the same lineup ( or very similar) for each day, it only makes sense you derp. Just saying the organisers probably got shitloads of complaints about too many tickets being sold/overcrowding/lines/etc so making it 2 days to spread to load of whales over will eliminate all those problems.#crundosknows Quote
styga Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 they want to make the festival bigger, and by making the festival 2 days, they will have to make the line up a lot biggerand probably have longer set times, hopefullyi doubt anyone will play more than twice.cause of what the dates are, chances are they have some play one day and those play in the other city the next dayso for example, sydney and perth. on the saturday the people playing in sydney will probably be playing in perth on the sunday#stygaknows Quote

It's two seperate days, the venues they have them at now are big enough. If anything you would want smaller venues to ensure both days are sell outs or close. And as Styga says i think the lineups will be different as you couldnt have two days of four consecutive festivals with the same artists just wouldnt work. Earlier this month, the festival giant announced it was upsizing in a big way – to celebrate its fifth birthday, Stereo will be expanding to a two day event in every city. Now, Stereo’s revealed more info about its gargantuan 2013 edition, answering a range of questions about ticketing, key dates and site info.Among the essential info? There won’t be camping at the festival, and set times and maps will be available from early November. Check out a selection of Stereo’s frequently asked questions below, or head to their Facebook for additional info about how to become festival volunteer, staffer or promoter.Last year, Stereo brought out an A-list cast of dance music’s biggest names. We’ll have to wait another six-odd weeks to find out who’s making the trip this year, but if you’re in the mood to get speculative check inthemix’s list of 20 tour predictions for summer – we’d wager there’s some Stereo-bound names lurking in there.Stereosonic 2013 ticket and event infoWhen is the lineup announced?Thursday July 4thWhat dates are Stereosonic on?Saturday Nov 30 & Sunday Dec 1 SYDNEYSaturday Nov 30 & Sunday Dec 1 PERTHFriday Dec 6 & Saturday Dec 7 ADELAIDESaturday Dec 7 & Sunday Dec 8 MELBOURNESaturday Dec 7 & Sunday Dec 8 BRISBANEWhen do tickets go on sale?Thursday August 1st from Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com.au/stereosonic)How much will a ticket cost?Ticket prices will commences at $199.95Can I purchase a 1 day ticket? No , only two day tickets are availableCan I camp overnight at the festival? No. No camping is permitted. Will there be pass outs? No, as usual there will be no pass outs.
