Boss101 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I have connected my DDJ-T1 to speakers. The speakers are all working. I can't get the headphones to work though. I have them plugged into the mixer, I think it's a settng on the Traktor software. Any help? Quote
Kodiak Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Has it worked previously or is this the first time using it? Quote
Boss101 Posted May 6, 2013 Author Posted May 6, 2013 This is the first time I am using it. I just bought it not long ago. Quote
Kodiak Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Headphones turned up? There will be a volume control somewhere for them. Just checking the basics first. Quote
Boss101 Posted May 6, 2013 Author Posted May 6, 2013 Yes. I havn't had my mixer pluggd into power, its just running off my laptop power. That shouldn't be a problem should it? Quote
Mitch Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 can you please post pictures of your audio setup, input routing and output routing screens in traktor preferences + your ASIO settings Quote
Mitch Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 You don't have anything selected for output monitor l and r - which is the signal that gets sent to your headphones Quote
Boss101 Posted May 6, 2013 Author Posted May 6, 2013 When I change the settings to L and R on the monitor it automatically changes the setting on the OUTPUT MASTER to Not Connected. Quote
Mitch Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Ok so it sounds like an issue with how the sound card is set up - can you post your ASIO settings then please? Quote
Mitch Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Should be a little icon in the taskbar on the bottom right of the screen (click the white arrow to the left of the norton security logo). One of them will be the ASIO4ALL settings.Open it and screenshot Quote
Mitch Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 ok so you can see the realtek card is selected. We need to change that so the pioneer is being used.Try double clicking on the pioneer and see if you can get that green arrow to be set to the pioneer card instead of the realtek. Then close and reopen traktor and try set your output routing again Quote
Boss101 Posted May 6, 2013 Author Posted May 6, 2013 I have changed it. Still the same problem.I changed the Audio Setup to 2 - Pioneer DDJ-T1 and the Built In Soundcard setting to 2- Pioneer DDJ-T1 on the actual Traktor 2 settings. I can now set the Output Monitor settings to 0 and 1 and the Output Master 2 and 3. Quote
Scottie Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Tried swapping them around to see if you're not getting the master signal out of your monitors? Also check that volume levels are up for your monitors and that the deck playing is set to play in your monitors. Quote
Boss101 Posted May 6, 2013 Author Posted May 6, 2013 Can somebody put up a photo of their settings on Traktor? Quote
Boss101 Posted May 7, 2013 Author Posted May 7, 2013 I have got the problem sorted. Thanks for your help! Quote
