Ummmm isnt that what various samplers and sequencers have been doing for years.

i think it may be a step forward for Fruity Loops to move to things ableton live was doing for live performances. Dont think it is adding much to the future of music production in general.

oh okay now thinking i about it. I guess rather then hitting an unlabelled pad you can see visually the sample you are hitting. So i guess that is a step forward.
