AUSTRALIAN DJ FORUMS

We've got tune and mix of the day but I'd like to start an essential album thread.

Artist albums seem to be becoming less significant in their entirety in this day when people pick and choose individual tracks off itunes or the like.

This is the place to post your favourite classic albums or newly released ones that tickle your eardrums the right way.

I'll kick it off with DJ Krush - Krush

If DJ's bought albums then they would have too many songs in their library. Including the not so good ones.

Not everyone in the world is a DJ. and DJ's still listen to music and I'd take a guess they own a few albums that they enjoy.

Good input to the thread.

I don't listen to edm 24/7, After spending 4-6 hours a day making tunes it's good to listen to something else, it's like an internal reset button

Just like when you go for a new cologne, after sampling a few you need to smell a bowl of coffee beans to "reset" your senses

I just go deeper into edm lol, i can't stand non dance stuff anymore.

Also agree albums are pretty outdated, not saying i dislike them but don't really see the point anymore.

If anything digital distribution pushes artists to make sure their releases are always killer and not filler like you see on so many albums.
