Synaxis is apparently some religious term, but it's not exactly a well known term.

soundcloud.com/synaxis and facebook.com/synaxis are taken which is annoying because they're taken by inactive whales who probably never log in. I don't mind having my urls as SynaxisOfficial though.

What was the process like when you had to switch your alias?

Check in the HQ section for the thread I made, think it was called, "ok people, defkon needs your help" or someone like that, lloydc was the 1 that came up with it, think it was in chat at the time and we added that to the thread, reason I went for that was cause it still had kon in it and it sounds so close to OxyContin which is a powerful sedative, the way I figured it was a heavy sedative combined with heavy bass lines

Just gotta throw a few ideas around and like cupe said, make sure know one else has it, that way you could even start your own blog site or something

nah i mean, what was the process like of switching your soundcloud/facebook page and diverting your fans to your new one.

All I did was just change my name in the edit settings on both soundcloud and Facebook, although Facebook allows you to only change your URL name twice, so I'm now stuck with oxykon

But yeah you can easily change your name and the URL on both sites no probs at all

Id already changed my facebook one twice, plus they said you cant change your page name when you have over 200 fans.

That doesn't phase me though, it will weed out the randoms who have liked my page.

I only have like 500 fans on facebook anyway. I get to keep all my soundcloud/twitter followers.

I know this guy who went under a previous alias and had like 2000 fans, changed his name and within a month had over 10000 fans. Gonna ask him for some advice lol.

Yeah fair enough then man, wasn't sure if you were going to continue street for complextro and something new for bigroom sounding stuff, which wouldn't make much sense given the genre change isn't massive.

That said keen to hear your new sounds, was never much of a complextro fan.

Only 500 fans lul, you know some of us would be over ecstatic if we had that many, worse case you could just create an entirely new Facebook account and start over, use an actual account as your producers page
