Sample Pads / Drums Machines etc

Hi Everyone,

I need some advice. I want to incorporate live drum sounds into my DJ sets. I want to know what is the best option for me to be able to mix and play a live drum kit.

I have been looking at the Roland sampling pad. Is this the way to go ?

MPC's and the NI Maschine are pretty popular for this sort of thing.

I know sampology uses the mpc in his DJ sets

Also bass kleph uses the maschine a bit in his DJ sets, check them both out on youtube

do you want hardware sampler or software sampler..??????.

I use hardware sampling to control software sampler........this give me best of both worlds

use the sampler in the d.j software and a midi controller...its cheeper but has its problems

if using traktor pro...use the f1 midi controller..

if using serato sp6 or mixvibes sampler ...use a AKAI lpd8..or any pad midi controller

I want something like with big pad in which I can hit with drum sticks.

Was thinking either the Alesis Percpad OR a Roland SPD-S percussion. Suggestions ?
