Basically its what you would call an U18's event. There is roughly 10 high schools all within 30minutes of eachother. I plan on marketing to all of them (with permission of course). Having only graduated high school a couple of years ago I know the local crowd pretty well. I have all my own gear, i'd probably have to hire a bit more lighting and probably another dual 18" sub however everything is readily accessible for hire.I'm just wondering what sort of things other people have encountered when going about an event such as this? Lurk6r Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 When you say rent, this would mean that your going to a hall or warehouse to throw this event in?If your charging for tickets then you may want to look into licencing issues as well as tax. Not to mention more tangible things such as security and toilets.Sorry to be a downer but you may be better off renting a club. Quote

I have to inquire about the going rates for security. I'm looking at having it on a friday night at the end of the second school term, gives me a bit more time to organize everything Quote
