djrichandersen Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I have a CDJ from America and use it for mobile gigs. It sucks always using the step down converter. Does anyone know if I can just plug an aussie CDJ power cable into it? What will happen if I do? From what I can tell they just look like any ordinary Figure-of-8 cable. Will any Figure-of-8 cable work? Quote
Scottie Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 It should tell you on the unit whether or not it'll work. If it says 110-240v 50/60hz on it, you should be sweet. However, from the couple of manuals on pioneer cdj's I've read, they only support the voltage of the region the unit was sold in. Quote
Jarred Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Provided it has 230~240 listed on the back you should be fine but if it doesn't and you apply 240v to a 110v transformer prepare for a large bang and potential flame out from within your cdj Quote
Mitch Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 What model CDJ? That may also help us answer properly Quote
