Traktor Incorporates Key Detection

The TRAKTOR 2.6.1 update is out now via Service Center. This update is free to all TRAKTOR PRO 2 users and lets you seamlessly sync meta data for your tracks from TRAKTOR DJ to TRAKTOR PRO and back including all BPM, beat grid and cue point information*. What’s more, this update also introduces TRAKTOR DJ’s key and downbeat detection for smooth harmonic mixing and formidable beat gridding.

I'm updating now to compare to MiK results.

wow you guys are brave upgrading with haste. dont you check the forums first? especially since roll back is hard with traktor. you have to reinstall an old one and find an older upgrade.

anyone tired the new iPad Traktor app? it's bloody great fun and a good way try tracks out. Especially when your on a long journey or whatever.

it also has key detection and offers suggested tracks to mix in.

Dunno if i agree with the offering tracks thing. shouldn't need that.

I'm guessing it aint the chamelot system, since MIK has a patent on that

Sounds cool but im a serato man now after the audio 6.

However I might update just to see what it's like, and see if they actually support there own bloody hardware with it now.
