DJedidiah
My djm300 decided to fry its 2nd channel when I was doing a 16th last weekend. Tested it out yesterday and I'm cant visually see the channel output levels and I'm getting barely any sound out of my monitors. It's under warranty but I'm getting cash back and upgrading to the 700. However when I had a look at the back of the DJM700 I noticed that there was only 2 deck control inputs (channels 1 and 2), so my question is, can I hook 4 decks upto the 700? GREMM1S
What do you mean by deck control inputs? You can run 4-cdjs and up to 3 TTs from memory.
DJedidiah
The small black cable, I think it's a 1/8 plug. If you look at the back of a 700 you'll see 4 channel inputs (RCA) and next to those in the first two channels is a small black input which will say "control" over it. When you hook up your decks to a mixer you use two RCA's and 1 control cable. My question is, can you hook up 4 decks to a 700? From what I can see you can't... Mitch
You don't need the control cable. All it does is automate pressing play when you move that fader (which nobody uses anyway).. So you can hook up 4. I'm currently using 3 on my djm700
