GREMM1S
Good mix but the audio quality is fairly wack for me?
Sentinel
Firstly, thanks man!Secondly, what software do you use to record? I've tried Audacity and Goldwave but the audio quality is never optimal. Cheers
GREMM1S
No worries dude was enjoying this mix! you might have either your gain too high on your mixer or your input is too high/maybe a mic input?tis a shame to have great mixes hard to hear lol
Mitch
Haven't listened yet - but even just looking at the waveform it looks like you have your gains too high somewhere. If it all looks fine on the mixer try lowering the gain in audacity.Try adjusting the line in gain down (to the left) until the recording level stops clipping (touching the far right hand side)
Sentinel
Been using Goldwave to record.. have the recording line-in gain so it's within +/-1 but it seems to be clipping.. with Audacity I seem to get a crackling, grainy quality even when its within the +/-1. My mixer (DJM700) is maxing at 2 green bars on master.I ran it through Platinum Notes to try and improve the quality as well.I'll give that a whirl though, would really like my recordings to be better.
