How fucked is Miami

So i've heard a few stories in recent times of DJ's such as Mark Farina and Magda being told to stop playing as they're music didn't suit the clubs policy.

Shocking enough that these whales book the DJ's in the first place then tell them to stop.

However, none more shocking that kicking DJ Shadow off the decks so the resident can get back on. Too futuristic apparently.

Definitely agree with you here.

Been to plenty of shows where the crowd didn't pay attention and they didnt pull the DJ.

A-Trak played at a really commercial city night spot in Melbourne and the people at the front had their back turned talking to each other after about 15 minutes into his set. Wasn't quite the standard of the Mansion, but still. They let him play out regardless. Same with DJ Rectangle and now I hear Revolution is playing somewhere there too. I wouldn't ask either of them to step off stage.

Promoters gotta do their market research.

Easily one of the worst things in the scene, remove all the good bits of clubbing yet have the power because of the money.
