What would make you all use ADJF Radio more?

Hardly anyone uses it for sets anymore, and barely anyone listens day to day.

Kinda been in another country at the moment, but in all seriousness, it would be sweet to see more people getting on and using this more, it's mainly just us regulars who use it all the time, come on everyone, the radio was put here so everyone can use it

I had a mate that was interested but he bought a $2,000 PA system so I still have them lol I haven't advertised them anywhere since coz I've had other things going on. If I do it ill play live but someone has gotta hook me up with how this net broadcast thing goes

i always listened to the ugly show. You whales start making it again and you'll get me everyweek (asside from the defkon and mitch sets (although with defkon in the us of a i miss him more with every day))

LUL, you know if you go into the oxykon threads in the DnB and dubstep sections where it has media fire links you can download my sets

If you have a smart phone you will be able to open the link in your web browser and then use a aux to headphone jack to your car, depending if your car has an aux output

If it was available to listen to via normal digital radio streams (ie radio section of iTunes, radio apps etc) I think you would get some more listeners. But no idea how you can get onto this?

Dude, it is available in iTunes, it's practically available on every media format, Winamp, vlc, etc

He means for it to show up in online radio station listings / catalogs rather than having to find the link from ADJF.

It is something I can look into but also brings issues such as royalties and licensing, scheduling etc to become fully legit. Which from the past when we tried to setup regular time slots we don't have enough people interested enough to do a weekly set to be worth it.

The way it's being used at the moment is people are jumping on when they feel like it because nobody else is using it. If we wanted to become legit I would need a bunch of people who want to do regular sets at specific times, then I could set up schedules so the Pre records stop at the exact time they want to play so it is all smooth - instead of cutting over someone mid mix.

This all requires a lot more effort on Cupe and myself to make it all happen like this and for the amount of interest people are showing combined with out already busy lives I can't warrant that effort right now

My main thing has always been that when im on the pc im doing my own music related stuff, bootlegs, tune hunting etc.

I can get the link on my phone (iphone 3/fell off a dinosaur) but once it is loaded it always opens a media player which I cannot save as a bookmark.

I can only save the URL in a note and then copy/paste it into the browser each time. Not very easy to do while driving.

Any ideas how I can make it easier?

aye mitch i know how to do that. problem is when I put the url into my browser it auto loads the quicktime player before I can bookmark the link. And I cannot save the quicktime player as an icon.

I can save an adjf page as a home screen icon, load it, wait for it to load, then click on the link at the top of the screen... best I can get so far.

well i listen to just triple j on the radio and then im usualy just digging for other tunes and listening to them just don't really have time
