overit
ezAnyone got any knowledge on these headphones with mics?I know some of you do online gaming but i dont know if units designed for that would be good enough quality for DJing?I need something reliable which I can use for online webinars so i can hear everything and be heard without needing to hold a mic.I also need seperate mic in and phones out jacks with a bit of cable length each coz my phone out is on the front and my mic in is on the back of my unit. Or I would consider wireless if they are 100% reliable. All info welcome.Cheers lads.
GREMM1S
I always get sennheiser headsets, always sound great and the mike is good.Last one i had was the pc150 or something
overit
Looking good there Gremm1s, nice 1Just noticed they come with a stereo minijack on the mic cable and the headphone cable so they are easy to plug into laptop/PC ports.I'm gonna want to plug into a DJ mixer so need a mono 1/4 inch jack on the mic side.I'd rather avoid an adaptor.Anyone know of any units like this but where the mic cable is designed for dj mixer inputs?I guess I'll be getting my soldering iron out otherwise. Kodiak
Zalman clip on mic works really well. Use headphones of choice and it just clips to the cable.
Scottie
Sennheiser hmd or hme series is probs your best bet. The hmd25's are industry standard in sports commentating, and sound the same as hd25's

overit
mic on a stand wont work as I need to move around a lot. Those sennheisers look great but too much cheddar from my wallet. The clip-on idea looks good to me. Can try it out pretty cheap and not end up with a headset I dont need if the whole idea goes to shit.Just need to find one with a mono jack now.
