Mitch
The new functions allowing you to re sample parts of the track on the fly looks sick. What do you guys think?
russell
Looks cool but I think I prefer the look of an Allen & Heath DB4.

Jarred
Isn't it just a firmware update of the current djm 2000 because if it is... I'm extremely interested.
Mitch
no it is a hardware update as well.Pioneer wouldn't give it to you that easy

GREMM1S
Not bad the 2000 looks sick, never had a chance to play on one yet.Seems like the 800/900 is still king of club land.
russell
Seems like the 800/900 is still king of club land.Xone
GREMM1S
Seems like the 800/900 is still king of club land.Xone 92 Nope.In some aspects a better unit, but the pioneers are well and truly more popular in clubs.
Mitch
A few places have both now. Not the point. anyway...Some places have djm 2000's nowadays but with many 800's still going and the 900 being a cheaper alternative that most are more than happy with, not many are spending the extra to get it
GREMM1S
The 2000s basically have the equivalent of an efx 1000 installed. But yeah havnt been overly popular in clubs.Heaps still run 800s.
Kodiak
Holy Crap! That was awesome. Sometimes I wonder what 2 people are doing up there. But that was definitely a a 2 person operation.
SolDios
you think they would inbuild a rmx 1000 with it too.
Mitch
you think they would inbuild a rmx 1000 with it too. Then why would people buy the rmx1000? Defeats the purpose. You don't release products which make others obsolete
Hobberz
Played on a standard 2000 and I think they are overrated and over priced.
legunner
800 and 900s are better for club use not sure what this would be good for but cool nonetheless.
x0russ0x
The same firmware can be used for the DJM-2000 and DJM-2000nexus. By updating your DJM-2000 to firmware version 3.0, the same functions as the DJM-2000nexus can be used on your DJM-2000. - pioneer faq

Mitch
I don't think that every feature would be coming across to the 2000, otherwise they wouldn't be bringing out a nexus - it would just be a firmware update for the original 2000 then? I would highly doubt pioneer would release a new mixer with purely software differences.
Mitch
That's my point. You can update firmware but i don't think they would release a firmware update that gives the 2000 all the features of the nexus. That would defeat the purpose of the nexus
