GREMM1S
Hey fellas really getting stuck into production lately and would like to get a keyboard. There seems to be a million different options like full on midi boards with pitch benders and faders on them, yet also normal casio type keyboard that have midi capability. Will be looking at relatively entry level type stuff, dont want to spend over 3/400 if i can.Would also prefer a larger one 61 note preferably. Mitch
i have a Yamaha PSR-295 which is cool coz its a full on keyboard as well as having the midiIt's pretty old nowadays though.did you wanna use it as standalone keyboard as well or just a midi only type thing? If your not gonna use it as a standalone keyboard you're probably better off going a midi only one as they are alot more compact which may be a factor for you
Kodiak
alotplease note whinge thread....I always kinda wanted a keyboard too. Not only for bits of production, but to teach my daughter the very basics (as far as my skill goes) and to have something for her to practise on.I see A LOT of benefit in kids learning music. GREMM1S
Actually i think standalone would be pretty sick to have, because the family has been wanting to get a keyboard so can maybe scam a few hundred off them haha. The m audio axiom does look quite nice. But yeah size isnt an issue im after a bigger keyboard anyway.
