Hey all,

I've been lucky enough to have a few gigs at a local pub, its great fun and I've had good feedback from people. Only thing is my name is, I admit, confusing and a lot of the locals have given up trying to pronounce it and given me the unofficial title of Schnitzel lol. Basically me and some friends thought about running with that and changing my DJ name to Schnitty.. I guess I want to know your thoughts on it!

Cheers

Schnitty...

In a pub it might be okay, its very matesy. Think about how it would work out in a club or private gig environment. It would suck to build up a following then have to build it up again if you change your name

What these guys said.. probs not good for a club scene

having said that, it wouldn't be hard to tweak it so that it becomes suitable

even by dropping the 'y' it makes it more suitable i recon

Thanks for your input guys! Yeah, given some time the novelty of it has rubbed off and I appreciate it sounding unprofessional.

For now the original name stays.. any ideas on how to make it easier to understand? I've thought about removing the 3s to make English other than that.. improve Central West literacy (I didn't think Sentinel was all that hard to say)?

Cheers

sentinel isn't hard to say.

Maybe removing the 3's will help it read easier, which will make those with a lower brain cell count possibly pronounce it correctly
