check out q-tip hanging out w kanye and No ID doing the needle drop technique to chop up a record.

theres heaps of times where people are shaking his hand and camera moves away but flick to his parts. its wicked.

hot cues are for pussies :teef: the last sequence is killer

yeah i was actualy trying to find the clip of him sampling for can i kick it and then choppin it up on the mpc. and came across that. will start an mpc fred soon.

not really tute just mad clips. including how its not just hip hop or a live beat smasher (as araabmuzik dude does)

^ yes man, I used to use stickers to create loops.

Obv kills needles, but needles are to djs what guitar strings are to axemen = disposable parts of the tools.

Obv means you'll never be able to play the bit of vinyl under the sticker again - even if you remove sticker and clean it you will have a very worn bit of vinyl (where the loop was) then huge jump in volume where it plays the bit that used to be under the sticker.

Obv sounds great and results in excellent analog sounding loops which maintain tempo even though the individual hits on the sample are not quantized = 100% original and creative sound.

But boy is it a pain in the arse getting that sticker in just the right place!
