Analysing Key

Wasnt too sure where to pop this so just put in here, was wonering whether rekordbox,s key analyser was accurate and if there is a good analyser that is free cant really afford mixed in key atm lol

I wouldnt use rekordbox's no recent accuracy results are available.

Something evolution or revolution is supposed to be quite good, not on par with MIK but still good.

Rapid evolution isn't at all userfriendly, but it's free and can do Camelot tags.

It has the same accuracy as MIK, but takes alot longer.

And it took me long enough time to do my whole library with MIK as it is.

Thanks for the response guys, checked out that dj tech tools link I think I'll give rapid evolution but will definately invest in MIK in the future

MIK is where it's at.. spend the $50, it's worth it IMO

yup as everyone has said, just get mixed in key

50 bucks is nothing when u see how much ur mixes improve

best 50 bucks i have ever spent

I just bought MIK and it works a treat, haven't really tired any other programs that support Camelot but when you get the Kanga together, do yourself a favor.

EDIT: there is a bug in the current version of rekordbox (4.0.1) not sure if windows only.

basically when the key is written to the key section of the ID3 tag via MIK, it's not showing up in rekordbox in some circumstances

I'm same as mitch running latest versions and have no issues, my suggestions are deleting all the tracks from the MIk and Rekordbox libraries to run them through clean.

Run them through mik first then into rekord box.
