legunner Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Anybody got any good guides for creating these styles in ableton? Quote

Tomy Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 it doesn't really matter what DAW your making it in. i've just done a trap tune with a friend a few things that might help are...- get a good quality 808 samples/ kit- that hip-hop "hey" sample that seems to be in every trap track- keep the bass clean and tight down low. legunner Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 Yeah cool I've got some beats going but they feel like they need some vocals over them. I'm thinking of getting the maschine hey it's pretty cool Quote
SweetIshDub Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 ridiculously fast closed hats, a vocal of your producer name right at the start and tons of this sample Quote
Bonz Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 ridiculously fast closed hats, a vocal of your producer name right at the start and tons of this samplehahaha ^^^^so true. Quote
SweetIshDub Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 hahaha I hate that sample so much but that picture is classiclil more serious though you can bring down the decay and sustain on your sub to get that thumping trunk slapper bass that tapers off Quote
