Hip hop/traps/rap tips?

Anybody got any good guides for creating these styles in ableton?

I don't have any input as to helping in ableton as i don't use it

it doesn't really matter what DAW your making it in. i've just done a trap tune with a friend a few things that might help are...

- get a good quality 808 samples/ kit

- that hip-hop "hey" sample that seems to be in every trap track

- keep the bass clean and tight down low.

Yeah cool I've got some beats going but they feel like they need some vocals over them. I'm thinking of getting the maschine hey it's pretty cool

hahaha I hate that sample so much but that picture is classic

lil more serious though you can bring down the decay and sustain on your sub to get that thumping trunk slapper bass that tapers off
