DJM 850 into laptop

hey dudes

very simple question here, can i plug the DJM850 into a laptop and use it and my 1000s as a controller? allowing me to mix without having to use CDs?

1000s don't have midi I'm pretty sure.

You'd have to use a time code setup.

You can use timecode with the djm 850 without needing an audio 8/10, correct. The soundcard is built into the djm.

Research HID mode for the 850. It will allow you to use it as a control surface for Traktor or VDJ. Unfortunately 1000s don't have the same feature.

as others have mentioned its only the soundcard that the 850 has, will still need timecode or the new players with usb.
