Getting work in melbourne clubs/pubs advice please? :)

I didn't ever play in adelaide I was only just learning then so didn't have the confidence in my skills as I do now, but I had alot of mates in hospitality there and would have a gig through them if still there.. I played at treasury bar a year ago wjhich was a bit of fun in the courtyard but coz I'm usually there to have my little girl stay overnight it's hard to commit to playing each time I go over...
