More volume out of mic

Hey guys,

I have a Samson Q7 mic and a digitech wireless mic system, but whatever I do I never seem to be able to get much volume out of it.

even with the master volume maxed out it's still reasonably quiet.

Any help?

Have you got the Mic/Aux switch on the rear of the mixer switched to Mic?

its probs the mic ur using, it probably requires a higher power source than what ur mixer is providing

i had this issue before, then bought a cheap mic and it worked perfectly

This. But isn't your wireless mic receiver, externally powered?

When you say master volume, are you reffering to the mic volume on the mixer or the volume on the receiver?

Im guessing similar results if wired or running through the receiver? Check on the bottom of the mile itself or inside the casing wherever it opens as they can have their own volume/sensitivity settings.

Tried checking the xlr or whatever cord you run into the mixer?
