bassline loops

whatup sick!?

first post here. just bought some gear and started playin with it. so im hopeless as yet but something im really keen to muck around with is the bassline loop that a lot of dj's who play at wah wah lounge seem to use. its a simple two tone bassline that sounds pretty funky imo.. any help appreciated!?

if you download the johnny canik podcast (itunes and search wah wah lounge) dated 13/06/12, he seems to use it a lot in that (4:20, 8:20 etc)

id just search up some 'minimal' artists

there is a Melbourne duo 'orkestrated' they have a similar sound to what i think your after

ta bro. would you class that johnny canik set as minimal?? just interested. been trying to put a genre on it but cant quite pick it..! thinking its probably minimal/electro house?

I wouldn't really call it minimal, 'melbourne music' is pretty much what i'd call it lol. most of it youll find under tech house/electro house. look up melbourne edm producers and you'll find plenty of this style shit.

Orkestrated is one that mattus mentioned.
