Kodiak Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I got a Dell U2311 which is a great monitor. Was using it as my primary monitor until I bought a Samsung 27" monitor. Now I have the Dell in portrait as a second monitor. It is amazing how many things work really well in portrait. Basically anything that is like a list. I am working on my mix for the newb comp and having Traktor on my main screen and Rekordbox on the 2nd has made finding the right tunes heaps easier.http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=au&cs=audhs1&l=en&s=dhs&sku=230-12158&redirect=1edit: If doing a bit of photoshop an IPS panel as found in the dell I provided will give a much much better and more accurate reproduction than cheaper TN panels. Cupe Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 pretty sure gaming specific screens are faster than 5ms RRnot that I give a fuck, I don't game on the PC but that's the look i wantBUT I do a lot of photography and graphics edits so I also need a very true-to-colour screendo you reckon go triple 24" or 22" lads? Quote
Kodiak Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 These Dell 24" looks like good value $279 eachhttp://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=au&cs=audhs1&l=en&s=dhs&sku=230-12093&redirect=1The Dell panels are very highly regarded for colour reproduction. And 24" gives a little higher resolution (1920x1200) the 23" (1920x1080). Quote
