GriffinAlliance
Im not sure if anyone here has actually taken a course in DJing here in melbourne, but if you have could you give me some feedback?Which one did you do, was it expensive, what did you learn etc?We used to do our DJ training internally but I would like to know if people have done a DJ course then what skills can I expect them to have on completion. There seems to be a lot of variation from past experience!
Lurk6r
I did the Dj crash course at the Melbourne Dj wharehouse 2ish years ago. They taught basic operation of cdjs, mixers as well as beat matching on cdjs and timecoded vinyl.

djnatdog
www.djmastercourse.com Is according to many a great course but I'm not sure some of the video freebies I've seen look fairly awesome and sweet and in depth and in context.
Willow89
Recently did the DJ warehouse 8 weeks course for $890. Was good but defiantly leaned towards serato usage and using the technology as opposed to using your ears. Would probably rate it 6.5/10. Am about to start one at DJ's United which is 12 weeks for $580, with gig/down the track job opportunities at the end. Just for a bit of fun and to compare the two. Will let you know how it goes.
