Monitor makes high pitch noise when turned off

I notice when I go to bed in the silence one of my pc screens emits a high pitch noise

When I turn the button on it stops, but then when it's off it happens, only sometimes, so it's intermittent

i jostle the cords and stuff or hit the on button on and off a couple times which sometimes stops it, but after a short while sometimes it starts again

I had to unplug the cunt last night just so it would shut up

achally is power supply 'issue'

options are:

1) shut up/stop complaining

2) buy new monitor

3) replace under warranty if applicable
