KANGR Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 yoo, my house is currently getting reno's so i dont have speakers or anything like that. Im not quiet sure on headphones, and dont have a real good understanding of stat's and all that stuff. Im Currently using my HD 25 II's to produce but i would rather something with an ear cup. Is their even such thing as a studio headphone. Price doesnt worry me. Thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssss Quote
GREMM1S Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Dr dre beats man all the big names use them just watch music videos and you see them! Quote
OxyKon Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 My preference is Technics RP-DH1200, they fit perfectly and cover your ears completely, once you put them on and turn the music on you can't hear the outside world Quote
Scottie Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 For producing you want something with the flattest response you can get. Sony mdr-v6's or mdr-7506's are pretty good and reasonably priced.Or if money really doesn't matter you could get some audeze LCD-3's and a powerful amp Quote
Scottie Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Krk kns-8400's are pretty good too. Not too sure about the d2000's as they have a lot of emphasis on the low end. Quote
russell Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 They don't really emphasise the bass that much. if anything it's the top end that drops out on them. Still pretty good cans for the price. Quote
