Yea its usually not the popular clubs. but it is where you will see the inventive, creative DJ that plays his own style and doesn't care what everyone else thinks of that style of music. You will find some really good DJs in underground clubs

Underground clubs are as you said dedicated to one style of music that usually isn't "mainstream" like dubstep, trance ETC. its the clubs that draw the same crowd of music lovers each week, that go to listen to good DJs show their style, and don't just go with the trends, or play top 40 music.

are there many good underground clubs in melbourne?

Has anyone been mouthed because they didn't play someones song or something like that while working in a club?

In most DJ related forums you've be crucified for not using the "search" function or first reading the "stickies". But we're all friendly here (most of us anyway). Hahaha He's right about that! your a lucky man that it happened here. otherwise..... :axe:. but yea man do some reading so you know what your talking about before you get all caught up in buying gear

yea i am persisting. playing at a couple of house parties where there isn't so much pressure, and just having a good time. which is what DJing is all about \:D/.... and the free beer you get from playing in clubs

youtube was the way for me, and ADJF, still a bit scratchy on some areas but getting there

you could of been paralysed from the waist down and spent you whole life in a wheel chair, and you would of gotten less sympathy then if you broke your arm and had it in a cast for a couple of weeks

just get the whole album i just got it and i use quite a few of the songs in my new mix. ;)just write yourself a note that when that song comes on you need to mix it a bit later or mix the next song a bit eairlier so you can cut that song short

not all songs are mixed, and when they mix them its usually at the very end, so you could just cut the song short a bit

Oh k. because i just want them to learn on, beat matching, mixing etc and then upgrade when i get better. they and in good condition and they are selling for 150 should i buy? i also will upgrade to CDJs when i get better so would i be able to swap over easily?

Well anyway guys as my topic says does anyone know about the DJ tech i-Mix Reload. I can get one cheap but don't know if it is very good, its only for stuffing around at home on and getting my skills up while i save up for a better one, but yea does anyone know how good they are? any info would be appreaciated Heres a picture to show you, and yes i know the orange is ugly.

That would suck. Its like when i was in Primary school, you used start going on camp when you were in grade 3, then went on one each year, but when i got to grade 3 they then moved it to grade 4, so i wait all year, then year 4 rolls aroundand they move it to grade 5! So another year and finally they don't change it and i get to go on camp. But on camp week it rained so hard all week that on the wednesday when we were supposed to go they cancelled it!
