i heard of people lining up for longer than that even.... not keen im in two minds about it: either get there early and try get a good spot in the que so i dont spend all day lining up, but if everyone does that, then ill get up early and STILL have to wait all day OR i could sleep in as normal, get there when i get there and hopefully the line mightve died down a bit. worst case scenario i still wait a shit long time, but atleast i didnt have to wake up early for it opinions?

even though i completely agree with you guys about it being a wank, it is still great exposure ive entered in it, im not doing it so i can get a gig at stereo though, im doing it so i can play a set exactly how i want and not have to put cheese in to keep the bishes happy. and if somoene sees me play and likes what i have to offer, then i get a gig playing 100% the music i want to play, WIN if not, then so be it, itll be a good bit of networking and experience

yea from the sounds of it, ur using the headphones to cue and beatmatch track B before you bring it in and fade out Track A. in which case, thats perfectly fine.. in fact thats what your meant to do u wanna sort out track B and get it all matched up to track A in your headphones, so that when you actually do the mix, it sounds smooth as to the crowd

dont know if its too late to contribute to this thread but yea, melody will be right, would put money on the girls being 'party rock shufflers'. Maybe a bit of heavy electro to bridge the gap between hardstyle and super commercial. if they say the commercial stuff isnt 'shuffle music' and then u drop hardstyle, that might be too drastic of a change.. maybe find some tracks with a bit of middle ground?
