id compare sync vs no sync to playing a guitar and being able to restring and tune it yourself vs not being able to as a guitarist, a very fundamental and basic component would be tuning the guitar, and re stringing it at first its a pain in the ass, and youll get it wrong.. the more you do it though, the quicker you will become at it and the better you will be you CAN play guitar without being able to tune and restring it, but like... you certainly wouldnt brag about it, as your not doing something that all guitarists SHOULD be able to do.

its true, the add is like a written version of you midnight guthy-renker adds.. which would basically mean the best part about the product is the advertisement -

im very curious anyone else have any better knowledge on them? EDIT: agreed Gandy, but if you bought all those songs, you would filter through them and find the ones that you actually like and disregard the rest. You would only need to pick 40 tracks or so before it becomes the equivalent to buying them off beatport -
i pay like 30 bucks for them, or is that after ur staff discount?
-
yea i did that eggsell, its still got the - instead of the ( ill either have to learn to deal with it or try that batch processing that mitch mentioned its jsut odd that some songs go song - remixer, and others go song (remixer) you'd think they'd have a consistent labeling method
-
thats happened to me, for that reason i always make sure i leave a solid few seconds of no sound before starting the recording.... cant copyright nothing
-
This would be the same as renaming each file manually yea?
-
Yea mitch the file name, also the file as it appears in Itunes... sometimes it has song1 - remix........and other times its song (remix) is there a way i can make it so thats all constant, i got a little bit of OCD when it comes to this sortah thing ill try using that method you showed to alter the file name
-
So this has been bugging me for a while Beatport formats a song a little differently, in terms of artist, song name, remixer i like it to go: artist - song name (remix) Beatport often have it as: artist - song name - remixer is there a way to fix this so that i can have brackets instead of the hyphon, or do i just need to manually change it myself?
-
Worth it
-
yea works for me now dont know what was going on before :S
-
agreed ^ dont do it in a club, sounds tacky keep it for the mixtapes as for your chick mates sounding like they're 10, edit the sound a bit and you'll have it sounding awesome, fiddle with EQs and what not
-
thread says it all, cant connect when i get the loggon screen it makes me type in the channel, which i never used to have to do then when i do all that it says 'cannot connect' the channel name is #ausdjforums yea?

There was just as many people at Syd's.. it was ridiculous
-
3, i recon the blue eyes stand out a bit too much though.. id either change them to red to match the font, or saturate them a bit more... or both
-
i think the concept is good, but in practice i agree with gnady looks awkward i like to tap for a few beats before i hit play anyway, going tap, tap, tap, fade seems like a weird idea

could u try one of those automated text-to-voice programs that are on the nat it depends on what type of effect your after, but if ur after a real robotic, automated sound, it could sound alright have u tried getting a female friend to record vocals for u?
-
id go Dj city.. or soundcloud there are some gems on soundcloud, you just gotta be patient and filter through it looking at things like the waveform of each track will help you determine if the track is worth listneing to, thatll save u a bit of time

her hair looks nice on the CD cover -
all those links should sort you out also check out soundcloud, if you dig through enough of it you'll find some gold and half the time its free.. win win but even if u cant find a remix of it, still play the original if thats what they wanna hear.. as the DJ its your job to keep the crowd happy, not urself... even if that means selling your soul and playing that piece of shit whistle song by pitbull
-
what about those big ass sales DJ Warehouse and Store DJ have maybe try set up a booth in one of the stores and get an ADJF DJ to dj or like that sydney festival thing, thast all about music and culture and shit. i think u missed this year, but maybe next year
-
its not even a good pre recorded mix.... and then he makes it worse by using an effect of some sort every 30 seconds
-
yet another DJ to add to the list of pre-recording Djs it really is an embarrassment to the art
-
i think that if ur paying $300, u might have to sacrifice a bit in the durability aspect.. anyway u can increase ur budget a bit? at the same time... if you wanna take it seriously, u probably shouldnt be bashing ur equipment

Your Shot would be an obvious one there is that remix comp, the Vamp Remix Comp (street and johnny have entered it) As GREMM1S said, maybe try with some of the uni's
